Mookie says “NO” to the Home Run Derby

Bummer.  Mookie Betts won’t participate in the Home Run Derby.  It would have been fun to see him out there but it sounds like he doesn’t want any part of it.

Plus, word now that JD Martinez has also said he doesn’t want in on the derby.

Which, in all reality, i’m totally fine with.  Let’s focus on what matters here and in the end who really cares about the derby.   Am I right?
