Red Hot Red Sox Ready For An Exciting Summer

June 16, 2021

The Red Sox are contenders again! They are currently only 1 or 2 games behind AL East-leading Tampa Bay Rays at an excellent record of 47-21! Pre-season prognosticators had written off the 2021 Sox as basement dwellers but this resilient bunch has shown they will be a force to be contended with in MLB this season.

After one of the best starts since 2018 so far ….their high octane offense has many come-from-behind victories. Devers and Bogaerts are leading All-Star voting for the SS and 3B positions while producing numerous Homeruns and RBI’s.  J.D. Martinez is having one of the best hitting years of his career while clutch hitters Hunter Renfroe and Alex Verdugo make sure the Sox are never knocked out no matter what the score is going into later innings.

Manager Alex Cora has shown that he still has what it takes to win pro ballgames at the highest level! He has gotten decent support from his rag-tag pitching staff to keep the games in the Red Sox’s favor. The Yankees are behind a few games as they hover around a .500 winning percentage while the Red Sox approach a more respectable .600 %.

Not too shabby for the re-hired Red Sox skipper Cora,  in only his third full season! Already with one world championship Alex Cora has made it clear he wants another one this season.  As the Sox look to regain 1st place they do so before a re-vitalized crowd who no longer have to endure numerous Covid-19 restrictions.

Everyone knows the Fenway Faithful will be there for their baseball team as the Summer pennant race heats up.

So get ready fans for lots of exciting games with these boys of Summer in their quest to capture another AL East championship in 2021 and then hopefully onward to the always fun to watch World Series

Good times to come again soon in Boston!! Go Sox Go!
