Red Sox Are Back in This Again, Winning 14 Games In A Row
Well nobody said being a Red Sox Fan is easy, yet it surely is worth the time spent!! About a month ago Red Sox fans were in a state of shock at how terribly the team was doing.
Alex Cora was suddenly fired and the team did not start off well for new Manager Chad Tracy. Red Sox fans were in a state of depression as their team was the worst in the American League and stuck in the AL East cellar in last place.
However they had one impressive homestand against the New York Yankees where they easily swept them at Fenway Park that let out some rays of hope. As the 4th of July approached to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United Stares of America… they struggled in a few games including a minor brawl that threatened to suspend Star Willson Contreras.
Then the trade that shocked Boston of Jaylen Brown off the Celtics and to the 76ers happens and Bean town was unsure of what else could happen that was worse.
However they don’t call Boston Titletown for nothing and there was no way thed Sox were going down without a fight. Now we look forward to the rest of the season because the Boston Red Sox have won a record 14 games in a row! Boston is in a good way again as the Red Sox amazingly pull off win after win, even when they are behind and look out of it.
Last night they played the seconds hottest team in Baseball last night The Baltimore Orioles and came back from behind in late innings to win 6-5!! This is big news folks as the team has not had a streak like this in 80 years!! They went into the All-Star break winning and have continued on for another week now rising above .500 and into playoff contention again!! Let’s Go Red Sox!!
Their prospects this season look good as they also are winning on the road and have the best starting rotation team .E.R.A in baseball currently and we all know pitching wins championships. Ranger Suarez and Sonny Gray lead the rotation with Aroldis Chapman having a spectacular record setting season as well.
All this with Garrett Crochet out on injury and hopeful to return soon to bolster the pitching staff even more, The Sox are playing great team baseball!
They are fun to watch as each game a different player steps up to contribute, make a key play , or drive home a clutch run. From Jarrod Duran to Cedanne Rafeala to Willson Contreras to Wilyer Abreu they have all contributed to exciting games and consistent play.
Manager Chad Tracy needs to be commended for doing a good job with rallying this team and making them contenders again. And so we say again Go Red Sox Go!
