Riding an Awesome Winning Streak, Red Sox Ready To Start Second Half of Season
The 2025 Boston Red Sox have really turned things around in the AL East. Soaring into the All-Star break the team was red hot having won 10 games in a row. Including a 1-0 Gem pitched by Ace Garrett Crochet the 2025 Sox had dramatic late inning comebacks like Cedanne Rafaela’s game winning home run over the green monster versus the Tampa Bay Rays.
No pressure on our friendly Red Sox team that seem to be really gelling this seasoning the clubhouse and on the field but last time the Sox had winning streaks like this they captured the AL East pennant and won the World Series. Let’s hope this Red Sox squad can do the same.
After some early season adversity the Red Sox traded 2018 champion and great hitter Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants. This kind of freed up some tensions as he refused to play 1st base and Alex Bregman was solidified to be the regular third baseman going forward. The result has been spectacular on field performances by the infield and outfield to help the pitching staff keep the team close and in ballgames.
Cedanne Rafaela has been nothing short of amazing in the field and at the bat while the rest of the team from Trevor Story to Jarren Duran have seen their hitting stats improve. Wilyer Abreu continues to be a good role player with clutch catches and timely HRs. The bullpen anchored by 2025 All-Star Aroldis Chapman has been able to close games effectively while throwing 102 mph fastballs while the starting rotation steadily has quality innings.
Manager Alex Cora has to be very pleased with this Boston Red Sox’s team resilience when under fire from the media and have been able to bounce back to play quality baseball. The good clubhouse environment has made a welcoming environment for young players like Roman Anthony and other minor leaguers to make immediate contributions in the Big Show.
In short, the Red Sox are ready to start the second half of the 2025 season in spectacular fashion and early on have a wonderfully great road trip to Wrigley Firkd to take on another team that is doing extremely well this season, The Chicago Cubs. What a classic matchup between these two old school teams and Let’s Hope they can meet again in this year’s World Series!! Wouldn’t that be great? With that being said, and so we Boston Red Sox fans soar off into the second half of the season feeling good and saying Go Sox Go!!
